Friday 15th September I returned to the beautiful Clevedon Hall for the wedding of Grace and Jack. The morning was going smoothly and we all talked about how much time we had; but that last hour, oh that last hour!! I always say it flies by and if you have the stunning bridesmaid dresses from twobirds; you need to budget more than 15 minutes per maid! As getting them on right and perfect on the wedding day is so hard, we just ran out of time! Grace stayed completely calm and I was so proud of her for keeping it together when semi dressed bridesmaids ran around and the registrars were knocking at the door. Down stairs Jack awaited his bride and the Grand Hall looked stunning thanks to The Little Wedding Helper and Flowers by Emma Norton. Grace made her entrance and thank goodness the rushing about hadn’t fazed her; she looked breathtaking on the arm of her Dad Phil. With showers due we headed straight outside for confetti and made the most of it before the showers started. I took grace and Jack down to the new bridge over the lake, I’m pleased to see a path has now been added as I was so worried about loads of mud due to tornado weather we had earlier in the week. However while down there we got caught in the next shower and Jess from Clevedon Hall spotted us under a tree and came to our rescue with umbrellas. After dinner the speeches were held and all of them were brilliantly funny; the two best men giggled like kids throughout theirs and the banter was priceless. To kick start the evening celebrations Pat McIntyre did a brilliant acoustic set followed by the first dance with confetti canons from Kieran Clarke Entertainment. Such a truly brilliant day and I loved watching these two together, congrats Mr and Mrs Payne I hope you have recovered enough to enjoyed you amazing honeymoon!
