Yesterday I had the pleasure of a lovely mid week wedding; what a fun loving lot! I arrived at Coombe Lodge to see their beautiful roaring fireplace, I just love it there during my favourite time of year; Autumn. Louise surprised me with her dress; I have seen it in the window of White Lace and Promises (I always worry about crashing my car there as I can’t help but take my eyes off the road and stare at their dresses!) But I couldn’t actually believe one of my brides had gone for this beautiful, unique dress with pink roses all over it! So excited! She looked stunning in it and it was a wonderful moment when her dad came in to see her all ready. Tony waited at the end of the aisle; due to the weatherman letting us down it took place inside. It was so relaxed and while their daughter Molly slept through the whole thing their son Dylan desperately wanted to share the moment with them. Although I’m not sure he understood the seriousness of the occasion when during the vows he asked to go home! With the rain not giving up we headed out with an umbrella (love couples who brave a bit of rain) and took shelter under the canopy of trees for some shots of the newly weds. After dinner and the speeches it was time to crank the party up and I absolutely loved their first dance; the new Mr and Mrs Newark know how to work a dance floor! Such a brilliant funny day, thanks so much for letting me capture it for you and for forcing me to drink Prosecco!
