Saturday I had the pleasure of capturing Ria and Oli’s big day; I used to go to boot camp classes with Oli a few years ago so its was great to share the day them both. The morning started at Hope Farm Cottages where Ria got ready with her best friends, Mum and Sister with the help from Hazel from Hairoics. Ria had requested a reveal to her Dad Ian first then outside to her bridesmaids; after an emotional hug with her Dad, Ian then asked me to leave to give them a moment just the two of them. Of course I happily obliged; I came outside and nearly burst into tears from all the emotion and thoughts of what words were most likely being exchanged in private between father and daughter. After the bridesmaids reaction I headed down the road to their venue the lovely Yarlington Barn where Oli nervously awaited his bride. I told him how stunning Ria looked to which he replied ‘She always does’. Someone else then said the same to him and again Oli said ‘She always does’; possibly one of the sweetest things any groom has said; clearly Oli sees Ria’s beauty everyday, whether she is in a wedding dress or jeans. After the ceremony which was full of laughter we headed outside for confetti and to see their dog Roo; Ria runs a local dog daycare centre 4Paws Sleepover so dogs are her life and Roo is their baby! After some photographs around the lake and orchard we headed in for the brilliant speeches and once the sun began to set we enjoyed some sparkler fun before the first dance. It was a brilliant fun day and I loved capturing these two who are clearly the very best of friends. Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs Saunders have a great honeymoon!
