To kick start the bank holiday weekend and on the hottest day of the year so far; Camilla and Craig had their wedding day and I was lucky enough to be asked to capture it for them. It was lovely to see Sasha Pallari working on Makeup and Tracy Pallari on hair when I arrived at their home that morning, I was even given my very own mug with my name on when I arrived- now that’s cool! Camilla looked truly stunning and I loved that her gown was from The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation which had been made unique and personal by her Mum Julie who added some beautiful lace and bead detail. The wedding took place in their family Church, St Gregory’s in Weare and after we drove the short distance to the lovely Nyland Manor in Cheddar. Here guests were warmly greeted with lots of food and drink as well a place to enjoy the lovely breeze as the temperature was close to 30c. I have witnessed lots of weddings in Marquees but this was the only time all of the sides were taken off due to the heat; which truly made it feel like you were dining outside enjoying the views across the fields and Mendips. Soon the evening was upon us and as their toastmaster Carl (Craig’s brother) had passed out, Camilla introduced the cutting of the cake and first dance. The band Hot Pursuit were awesome, I mean truly amazing! They had so much excitement and buzz and everyone loved it; has to be said one of the best wedding bands I have ever seen, such a great way to finish of an amazing day. A huge congrats and thank you to Camilla and Trev; your both so kind and caring and that showed throughout the day by how much you are loved by your friends and family.
