The long drive way through the trees and then around the last bend until you see Dillington House never gets old, it was so great to be back for Diane and Marcus wedding day last Friday. The morning was lovely and relaxed as Diane got ready with her nieces who were bridesmaids along side her closest friends. Makeup by Sally and Tracy Pallari were on hand to finish Diane’s beautiful look; she looked stunning in her strapless gown with diamond waist detail. Marcus was down stairs greeting guests and when the moment came for Diane to walk down the aisle it was wonderful. Throughout the whole ceremony I could tell what this day meant to both of them, although we thought there would be lots of tears they both held it together. Outside everyone enjoyed the last of the summer sunshine with drinks and canapes along with a few group photographs and my favoruite, confetti! With much debate about the wind direction a circle of guest around Diane and Marcus ensured they would get a handful over them; take a look below, my favourite shot of the day! With the lanterns burning outside at dusk we headed outside for a few more images which I love, then it was time for the party! A massive congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Gibbons, thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful day!
