Another beautiful Saturday and this time I got to spend it with Ruth and Chris as they tied the knot in front of family and friends. The morning started in Chard at Ruth’s parents house Sue and Nigel, such a nice chilled start to the day as Ruth had her hair done by Chris’ sister and Bridesmaid Fiona. Arriving at the beautiful Church in Combe St Nicholas (early for once yay!) Chris seemed calm, just mainly hot as it turned out to be a super warm day. The ceremony was perfect and made really personal which I loved, after we headed outside for confetti and group photographs to the sounds of ringing bells. Throughout the ceremony I just loved how Chris was looking at Ruth, he just couldn’t take his eyes off her; it was wonderful to capture. The reception was held at Monk’s Yard near Illminster, Ruth, Chris and I went off for a few photographs and on return found the guests enjoying drinks and games out in the sunshine. It was such a relaxed informal day which the couple both wanted, I love weddings that are this fun and sure makes my job easy when everyone is having such a great time! A huge congrats to the new Mr and Mrs Hopkins, here are a few from the day!
