Being the lucky photographer I am, I returned to Coombe lodge for another beautiful summer wedding. I absolutely love seeing the same family again; I photographed the Patch family when their daughter Katie got married last year. This time it was their sons Stuart’s turn marrying his partner of 11 years Sarah. I was truly blown away when Sarah stepped into her gown, a beautiful classic dress with lace detail from Rookery Bridal. We talked about if Stuart would cry; no chance he would just crack jokes, which he did throughout the warm outside ceremony within the grounds. With a bit of a breeze Sarah battled her veil and they both suffered a flood of confetti in the face! Stuart had me laughing most of the day with his cheeky (and sometimes rude) one liners, so I knew his speech would be entertaining; I wasn’t let down! The whole day was perfect and intimate with just 50 guests and before I knew it, it was time to head home and leave everyone to party the night away. A huge congrats to the new Mr and Mrs Patch and a massive thank you to the whole Patch family for making me feel so welcome.
